The difference in Regular vs Extended License comes down to who uses the finished product. A Regular License covers one end product for you or one client. An Extended License covers one end product that is sold or offered to many users, such as a paid app or a SaaS. Neither license lets you resell or share the template files themselves.
That is the short answer. Below are simple examples, the things that are never allowed, and how updates and refunds work when you buy from the Wooprex Marketplace.
What an “end product” means
An end product is the finished thing you make with the template: a website, an app, a design. You change the template, add your content, and the result is something new. The license is about that end product, not about the raw files.
Both licenses cover one end product. If you build two separate websites from the same template, you need two licenses.
Regular License: one end product for you or one client
Choose a Regular License when the end product is used by one business, and its visitors do not pay to use the product itself.
Simple examples:
- You run a restaurant and build your own website from a restaurant template.
- A web designer builds a company website for one client from a corporate template and bills the client for the work.
- A consultant uses a portfolio template for a personal site.
- A clinic uses a template for its booking information pages.
In each case there is one site, for one owner. Visitors can browse it, contact the business or buy the business’s own products and services. That is still a Regular License, because people are not paying for the website itself.
For example, the Rezto restaurant template under a Regular License fits a single restaurant’s own site.
Extended License: one end product offered to many users
Choose an Extended License when the end product itself is sold or offered to many users.
Simple examples:
- You build a SaaS product and use the template for the app’s interface that paying subscribers log into.
- You make a paid web app or members’ area where users pay for access.
- You use a design on merchandise or another product that you sell to many buyers.
- You create a tool that many customers sign up to use, even if some plans cost nothing.
The test is simple: is the thing you built the product people sign up for or pay for? If yes, you need the Extended License.
For example, a startup using the Loopix SaaS template for its marketing site needs a Regular License. If it also uses the template to build the dashboard its subscribers pay to use, that end product needs an Extended License.
Quick way to choose
- One site or design for yourself or one client: Regular.
- A product many users sign up for, pay for or buy: Extended.
- Two or more separate end products: one license for each.
- Not sure? Ask before you buy. It is easier than fixing it later.
What is never allowed, with either license
Some things are not allowed under any license:
- Reselling the template. You cannot sell the template, or a lightly changed version of it, as a template, theme or kit.
- Sharing the files. You cannot give the source files to others, upload them to a public repository, or include them in a download that lets others reuse them.
- One license for many projects. Each end product needs its own license.
- Removing the license record. Keep the license key and LICENSE.txt with your project files so you can show what you bought.
Your client can own and run the website you built for them. What they do not get is the right to reuse the template files for other projects.
What you get when you buy
Every purchase in the Marketplace comes with:
- Instant download of the ZIP.
- A license key tied to your purchase.
- A license PDF that states the license type and terms.
- LICENSE.txt inside the ZIP, so the terms travel with the files.
The website templates in the Marketplace cost $39 with a Regular License. Browse them all in website templates.
Three quick scenarios
An agency building sites for clients. You use the same corporate template for three different clients. That is three end products, so you buy three Regular Licenses, one per client site.
A startup with a marketing site and an app. The public marketing site is one end product under a Regular License. The subscriber dashboard built from the same template is a second end product offered to many users, so it needs an Extended License.
A course creator. You use an education template for your own course site, where students pay for your courses. The courses are your product; the website is one site for one business, so a Regular License fits. If you instead build a platform where many teachers sign up to sell their own courses, the platform is the product, and you need an Extended License.
Updates and refunds
Updates: both licenses include lifetime updates at no extra cost. New versions of the ZIP download from the same place as your original purchase.
Refunds: if the product does not work as described and support cannot fix it, you can get a refund within 14 days of purchase. When a refund is made, the license key is revoked.

FAQ
Can I use a Regular License for a client project?
Yes. A Regular License covers one end product for you or for one client. Each additional client site needs its own license.
Do I need an Extended License for an online store?
Usually not. If the store sells your own products, the website is one end product for one business, so a Regular License fits. You need Extended when the product people pay for is the thing built with the template.
Do both licenses get updates?
Yes. Both include lifetime updates, downloaded from the same place as your purchase.
Can I upgrade from Regular to Extended later?
A Regular License does not cover a product offered to many users. If your plans change, buy an Extended License for that end product before you launch it.
